Your new company

Our client is amongst the world’s top producers of major commodities, including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium. They extract and process minerals, oil and gas from their production operations located primarily in Australia and the Americas.

Your new role

As Mechanical Commissioning Engineer reporting to the Lead Commissioning you will be responsible for ensuring commissioning is integrated into the project execution plan, in a safe and effective manner, and coordinating the activities of contractors undertaking commissioning tasks.

In this role you will:
  • Provide expertise and coordinate resources to deliver planning, as well as safe and effective execution of projects.
  • Develop scopes of work while ensuring all work undertaken is aligned with Australian/ Site standards required.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of commissioning activities.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the commissioning process.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering (preferably Mechanical)
  • Heavy Industry project experience essential
  • Demonstrated understanding of principles and governance in commissioning
  • Technical communications knowledge and skills
