UBank’s customer service team is expanding. The main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • Answering inbound calls from personal customers and brokers, about a range of simple to complex enquiries
  • Adapting customer service techniques to ensure relevance to the current market/banking conditions to ensure that the service provided is helpful.
  • Investigate issues and promptly escalate and collaborate with the relevant teams to resolve any issues.
  • Entering customer details, activities, and opportunities into the system to ensure a robust database is maintained

This is a 12-month temporary assignment with a start date of April 28th, 2025, in the Sydney CBD with the potential of extension or permanency. Paying an attractive rate of $35.86 per hour plus super. This is a full-time role with a rotating roster of 38 hours a week. You will work Monday-Friday between 8am-8:30pm & Saturday and Sunday between 8 am-6pm. You will be provided with your roster a few weeks in advance, with one or two weekends a month compulsory. Training is provided in office for the first 4–6 weeks, working Monday-Friday. Once completed, you will transition into a hybrid working model, working 2 days from home.

Weekend work attracts a higher hourly rate.

What you need to succeed:
• Previous direct customer service experience. Call centre experience is desired but not mandatory.
• Hospitality & retail customer service experience is highly regarded
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly resilient with an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
