Your new role
With expansion occurring within the area, this council is looking for an experienced Contributions Advisor who can hit the ground running. You will be responsible for the preparation, review and management of major strategic land use policies, projects, and contribution plans. Analyse and provide advice to council staff on project planning as well as providing evidence-based recommendations to achieve business unit objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have at least 1 years’ experience in specific contributions planning works as well as additional time spent working in a similar position within the wider planning space. You will have a comprehensive working knowledge of NSW planning legislation systems. You must also have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as town planning, Geography, Urban Planning, Architecture or equivalent. A positive can-do attitude is key, as well as a high level of communication, mediation, accounting, and negotiation skills.
