Data Analyst
One Data Analyst position within a Government Department on a contract to 30 June 2025 with extensions
Your new company
You will be working with a Government Department as a Data Analyst in the Operational Services Strategy, Design and Data Section which focuses on contemporary client-centric service design and continuous improvement.
Your new role
The Data Analyst will be involved in the day-to-day management of the Data and Analytics work stream within the OSSDD section. With a focus on the provision of accurate and timely information, the Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, collating, constructing, interpreting, and analysing data to derive meaningful insights and observations from the information to support business activities.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered, you will need:
- SAS Software
- Proficient in Statistics
- Microsoft Power BI Reporting
- Provide analysis on complex issues to support and contribute to the management, development, preparation and coordination of policy and/or project management.
- Develop and support key internal and external relationships, including managing stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals.
- Proven experience in supervising and developing a team, with the ability to communicate and collaborate with team members to achieve results and support strategic direction.
You must be an Australian citizen and will possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a (Baseline) personnel security clearance.

In return you will secure a competitive hourly rate with an initial contract to 30 June 2025 with possible extension options.
