Your new role
If successful, you will join 1 of 2 teams;
Derivatives; Confirmations
Oversee the confirmation process for all the bank’s derivatives products, including interest rates, commodities, and foreign currency.
Issue transaction confirmations for NAB and generate corresponding reports for customers.
Follow up on confirmations from large corporate and institutional banks via email or phone
Ensure clients sign and return confirmations, verifying signatures and checking for discrepancies.
Conduct reconciliations and generate reports using system data.
Manage outstanding trades, which can vary significantly throughout the day.
Investigate and escalate discrepancies to traders as needed.
Derivatives; Market Client Servicing
Manage client reporting, adhering to strict deadlines and cut-offs.
Handle collateral management, including managing client and bank collateral and arranging settlement bookings.
Oversee email communications and automated reconciliations, managing exceptions as needed.
Facilitate same-day collateral exchanges, ensuring agreements are confirmed and payments processed.
This role is an initial full-time 12-month temporary assignment with a view to extend. You will be required to work from Mon – Fri between 8:30am – 5:00pm working 38 hours per week. You will be based at 395 Bourke Street, have a hybrid working environment and be paid $35.86 + Super and will commence on 6th January 2025.
