Your new role
- Participate in ecological surveys, impact assessments and offset investigations
- Participate in the delivery of bird and bat risk assessments, utilisation surveys (BBUS) and adaptive management plans
- Participate in the delivery of high-quality technical reports
- Participate in the development of bid win strategies and project proposals
- Participate in the development of project delivery plans and work with internal project delivery teams to meet project goals
- Commitment to safe work practices
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in ecology, environmental science, or a related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in ecological consulting
- Knowledge of NSW environmental regulations and ecological assessment methodologies
- Strong skills in bird identification
- Experience implementing bird and bat risk assessments, utilisation surveys and adaptive management plans
- Proficiency with relevant software (e.g., GIS tools) and data analysis
