An exciting opportunity is available for a Plumbing Projects Estimator and Lead in Penrith, NSW. This role is perfect for an experienced professional eager to contribute to the success of diverse plumbing projects in the commercial and industrial sectors.

Your new role

• Preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour, and equipment requirements.
• Procuring all necessary materials for successful project execution.
• Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitoring project progress and making adjustments to maximise efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborating with project managers, site supervisors, and stakeholders to overcome challenges and achieve project goals.
• Driving continuous improvement by optimising estimation and operational processes.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to your team to ensure high performance and development.

What you'll need to succeed

• Significant experience (5+ years) in plumbing estimation and operations management, ideally within the commercial or industrial construction sectors.
• Proficiency in plumbing estimating software and other relevant tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement process improvements.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
• A qualification in plumbing and a current Plumbing Licence.
