Your new role

As the Events Producer, you will be responsible for identifying, planning, producing, and evaluating a range of events and functions designed to promote a positive image of the city. This role involves managing the planning, coordination, budgeting, and reporting of the events program, engaging locals and attracting visitors while recognising the city's rich and multi-faceted history.

What you'll need to succeed

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma of Event Management or related field, or three (3) years equivalent experience (Level 5).

• Bachelor of Business (Event Management) or related field, or Diploma with five (5) years equivalent experience (Level 6).

• C Class Driver's Licence.

• Current NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).

• Ability to obtain National Police Records Check.

• Possession of Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or ability to obtain prior to employment.

• Level 2 and 3 Work Zone traffic management accreditation or ability to obtain.

• 7.5 hours per day from Monday to Friday
• Assignment end date: 30 June 2025
• Hourly rates range between $55 to $60 excluding superannuation.
