Leading Service Provider seeks facilities expert for exciting site in Epping

A leading service provider in the north seeks experienced Facilities Coordinator/Officer to join their team at a thriving site in Epping. With hundreds of visitors per day, this live environment is a thriving hub of food and experiences. This will a temporary role running full time until November, with a possibility to be considered for the permanent role on offer.

Your new role

Working as part of the facilities management team and reporting into a Senior FM day to day you will:

  • Respond to reported issues and coordinate efficient and effective responses;
  • Coordinate with site FM team and perform all necessary tasks to schedule subcontractor visits onsite
  • Communicate with external vendors to confirm availability;
  • Collection of subcontractors’ documentation
  • Submission of guard and access requests as needed
  • Organise permanent passes for vendors where appropriate
  • Arrange preventative maintenance for HVAC, security
  • Monitor external activities like waste disposal and recycling
  • Coordinate parking space allocation

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven facilities management experience, preferably within an integrated services and property model delivering a Property Management, Facilities Management, Project Management service.
  • Knowledge of building services and general building maintenance.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience dealing with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in multi-tasking of various duties.
  • Proven capability of working within an environment using QA, OH&S and environmental systems.
  • Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/ innovative approach to problems and opportunities.
  • Proficient in desktop applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
