Your new company

Our client is a Local Council in the northern suburbs of Brisbane who provide a wide range of services and facilities to the community. They are currently recruiting a Building and Facilities Planning Engineer to work with their existing team on capital and operational projects.

The role will also involve liaising with internal and external providers to coordinate the concept planning and detailed design of projects when necessary, identifying issues and undertaking Project Management duties.

What you'll need to succeed

This position requires someone with a degree in electrical, mechanical engineering or other relevant engineering field as well as sound experience providing engineering, compliance and technical advice in relation to building and facilities including asset life cycle and facility management plans.

You will also have excellent stakeholder management, communication and time management skills in order to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
