Our client is locally based in Paget. They specialise in providing solutions for mining, industrial, and civil engineering companies, with a focus on fluid handling and distribution. Their reputation for quality has allowed them to offer a full range of products in areas such as motor vehicle body and trailer manufacturing, architectural and structural metals manufacturing, and more. They are currently looking for a field service fitter to join their Mackay Team.

Your new role

• Assembly fit-out and testing of manufactured products

• Workshop and site-based repairs, services, overhauls and testing of other OEM products

• Installations, repairs and troubleshooting

• Site and workshop work required

• Fit out, assembly and testing of service modules and water trucks

• Hydraulic and lubrication system installations, repairs and troubleshooting

• Assembly, repairs and testing of hydraulic cylinders and other hydraulic components

• Carry out or assist in any on site installations, repairs, maintenance or testing task as required

• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Mechanical / Diesel Trade Certificate

• Current Open Drivers Licence

• Coal Board Medical (desirable)

• Standard 11 (desirable)

• Be living locally in the Mackay Region
  
  

What you'll get in return

In this position, you will be offered work on a Monday to Friday basis, working approx 50 hours per week. You will be paid an attractive hourly rate on a weekly basis with overtime and super. With this position, you will also be given a service vehicle and when travelling to site, all meals and accommodation is also supplied. You will be reporting directly to the workshop foreman and have the opportunity to grow within your career.
