Your new role
The Financial Accountant is responsible for implementing accounting policies and practices that accurately report the financial position of the company and its two operating subsidiaries.
Financial Management and Compliance
Preparation and lodgment of statutory returns.
Implementing internal financial controls, policies and audit measures under the direction of the Finance Manager.
Cost analysis and reporting – budget variance analysis, preparation of reports and presentation documents
Accounts payable, accounts receivable, debt recovery
High standards of customer service
What you'll need to succeed
Several years’ experience in a similar role.
Experienced in handling multi-entity accounting, with the ability to effectively manage and reconcile the financial records of different entities under a unified reporting framework
Degree qualification in accounting.
Certified Practicing Accountant or Chartered Accountant qualification and membership.
Strong analytical skills.
Business process improvement skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (essential)
Payroll processing and compliance.
