Our client is a leader in their field and supports a prestigious portfolio on the Gold Coast. Their presence is continuing to grow due to the level of service and support provide to their client base. They have a requirement for a Financial Accountant to join their loyal team.

Your new role

• Financial Management and Compliance
• Preparation and lodgment of statutory returns.
• Implementing internal financial controls, policies and audit measures under the direction of the Finance Manager.
• Cost analysis and reporting – budget variance analysis, preparation of reports and presentation documents
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, debt recovery
• High standards of customer service

What you'll need to succeed

• Several years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experienced in handling multi-entity accounting, with the ability to effectively manage and reconcile the financial records of different entities under a unified reporting framework
• Degree qualification in accounting.
• Certified Practicing Accountant or Chartered Accountant qualification and membership.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Business process improvement skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (essential)
• Payroll processing and compliance.
