An opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join a State Government department in East Perth. This role is for an immediate start, on an initial 6-month temporary contract, with the possibility of extension.
Your new role
Assist with the development and production of project management documentation used in the definition and delivery of the Fatigue Framework.
Takes meeting minutes and scheduling of project workshops.
Requests and collects participant responses / documentation into Project materials and provides information to the Project Managers for further consideration or action.
On behalf of the Project Manager, collects data and monitors the progress of assigned tasks, prepares progress reports and assists the Project Manager in addressing issues that will affect performance indicators and/or milestones.
Assists the Project Manager in the provision of support to groups such as Steering Committees, including assistance in the production of reports and meeting papers for Committees, minute taking and agenda distribution.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience in the Project / Administration space
- Interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write briefing notes, meeting minutes, letters and present information
- Sound organisational skills
- A current police check within 3 months (or willing to obtain)
