The Role: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead the operations at Ramada Suites Zen Quarter Darwin. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of service and operational excellence that the hotel is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & People Management: Oversee Department Managers, manage recruitment, onboarding, and training processes, and ensure effective cross-training.
Operational Excellence: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize revenue, manage costs, and enhance service quality through continuous improvement initiatives.
Guest Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, handle escalated issues, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Strategic Growth: Drive sales, identify new business opportunities, and maintain high standards across all departments.
Candidate Profile:
General education in service & hospitality, with a focus on middle and upper management levels.
At least 3 years of experience in Hotel Management.
Exceptional written English and copywriting skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Valid Driver License and Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (willingness to become Liquor Licensee preferred).
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Personable, proactive, and results-driven.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
