Your new role
Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Senior Analyst. The role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance processes. The role will support the business in a second line capacity and oversight. You will work solely with the Compliance Lead and the CRO and get senior/board engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
• Maintain the compliance plan and assist the first line teams in closing processes and control gaps required for regulatory compliance.
• Testing privacy, AML and compliance controls
• Policies, compliance obligations and controls mapping
• Improving the Compliance & Risk Framework and further operationalising
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures
• Risk dashboards and pulling together insights
• Regulatory reform monitoring and advising the business on upcoming regulatory changes
• Uplifting the risk register, simplifying it for line 1
• Own and independently deliver the process of collating Board and Committee papers, including executive committees, and assist the CRO
What you'll need to succeed
• Tertiary qualification e.g Finance, Commerce, Law, Accounting
• Proven Compliance/Risk experience in financial services or from Consultancy
• Excellent organisation skills and someone proactive
• Stakeholder management – level of maturity to interact with senior stakeholders
• Driven personality and wants to learn and develop
• Ability to work in a broad role with every day being different
