Local council organisations based in Melbourne – please note this does not refer to one specific council
Your new role
- Ensure the health and maintenance of lawns, gardens and open spaces
- Operating mowers, trimmers and other horticultural equipment
- General site clean-up including litter collection
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental guidelines
What you’ll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience using handheld maintenance machinery
- Brush cutters, whipper snippers, hedge trimmers etc
- Chainsaw and chipper ticket preferred (but not mandatory)
- Ride on mower experience preferred
- Minimum MR licence
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
