HR Business Partner role based in Chatswood, financial services organisation salary up to $130,000k plus super

Our client is a leading player in the finance sector who is seeking a new HR BP to join their organisation. The company has a progressive and friendly culture with an ambitious workforce and leadership group. The office is based in Chatswood with a competitive salary of up to $130,000k plus super and is a permanent opportunity.

Your new role

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to senior leadership, managing a client group (200 staff), generalist tasks, ER, performance, stakeholder engagement.
  • Partnering and Stakeholder Management: Align people practices with department and team goals.
  • Employee Relations: Address queries, mediate conflicts, and promote a positive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Assist in developing performance management systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with Australian employment laws and regulations.
  • Policy Implementation: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Implement a new HRIS system
  • Conduct training needs assessments and recommend learning solutions.
  • Updating policies and procedures
  • Exit interviews
  • Manage one direct report

What you'll need to succeed


  • This is an HRBP level role, so strong partnering and generalist experience is important, as well as:
  • Solid experience in a generalist HR experience
  • Advantageous if you have experience working in the financial services industry.
  • Understanding of Australian and NZ employment laws and regulations Preferable
  • Advantageous if you have experience implementing a new HRIS system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
