Your new role

As HSE Advisor, your role will have you utilising your knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance, including responsibilities to self, other persons and property, the safety operation of plant and equipment and manual handling.
You will also demonstrate your ability to read and interpret documents such as all-relevant State Work Health and Safety, Occupational Safety and Workers Compensation Regulations and Legislation and Quality ISO 9001, Food Safety ISO 22000, ISO 45001 OHS and Environment 14001, safety rules, relevant Standards and Codes of Practice, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.

What you'll need to succeed

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
• National Police Clearance (valid within 3 months)
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Current WA Driving Licence
• Eligibility to work in Australia
• Be willing to provide 2 contactable references.
• Understanding of relevant State Occupational Safety and Work Health and Safety Acts and Regulations, Health and Workers Compensation Regulations and Legislation.
• Understanding of Quality ISO 9001, Food Safety ISO22000, ISO 45001 OHS, and Environment 14001 would be an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Actively demonstrate the ability to create and follow processes that adhere to industry best practices around Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
• Be open to completely client-specific inductions.
