Your new role

As Legal Counsel, you will support senior management in working strategically and commercially with the technology services arm of the business, to shape new business offerings and provide legal advice relating to contracting with their clients.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Providing trusted and sensible advice on technology client contracting matters
• Providing oral and written legal advice to stakeholders on a range of technology client contracting matters
• Undertaking legal analysis and providing clear, plain English advice to management on commercial arrangements and legal obligations
• Drafting contract documents such as Master/Umbrella/Framework Services Agreements, Technology-specific Services Agreements, Subcontract Agreement, License Agreements, Reseller Agreements, Service Schedules/Modules, and Statements of Work/Order Documents.

What you'll need to succeed

• Ideally between 4- 6yrs PQE with a technology law background.
• Experienced in the area of technology contracting, data and IP, ideally with some private practice experience.
• In-house experience gained in a technology services provider will be highly beneficial.
• Experience and confidence in dealing with and assisting stakeholders (both in written and verbal communications), including an ability to draft clear and precise legal documents and communications
• Strong technical knowledge in one or more areas of commercial contracting including technology
• Experience working within teams of lawyers and supporting and consulting senior lawyers
• Excellent interpersonal and commercial skills, as well as an ability to build relationships and influence with impact
