Machine Operator

Machine Operators needed for location in the South Brisbane area!!

Your new company

Hays Recruitment are specialists in the Building and Construction industry in Brisbane. Working with some of the most reputable commercial and civil building companies and contractors in the area, we supply to projects including commercial and residential sites. Our clients are regularly commencing new work and needing enthusiastic machine operators to assist their teams.
Your new role
Duties including but not limited to:
  • Operating machinery at an expert level
  • Assisting with general labouring where needed
  • Using power and hand tools if necessary
  • Reading and understanding job specifications
  • Manual handing and loading where needed


What you’ll need to succeed

  • Valid QLD Construction Safety Card (White Card / Blue Card)
  • Relevant tickets and licencing such as but not limited to:
    • Medium / Heavy Rigid licence
    • Telehandler ticket
    • Backhoe ticket
    • Haul truck
    • Roller
    • Skid steer
    • Excavator
    • Front end loader
    • Dozer
    • Grader
    • Scraper
    • Crane operation
    • EWP operation
  • Proven experience working on civil and/or commercial construction sites
  • Working rights in Australia
  • Working references covering the last 6–12 months
  • Current Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport
  • Ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol testing as required
