We’re looking for an ambitious Marketing Manager to take ownership of high-profile events and agency partnerships, all designed to introduce businesses to the power of a leading platform and help them achieve measurable results.
Your new role
Event Strategy & Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-volume events that engage independent agencies and their clients. This will include quarterly activations across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland, and you will also contribute to larger industry events like SXSW that will showcase the platform's potential to transform business strategies.
Agency Partnerships: Collaborate with our agency team to nurture relationships with independent agencies, enabling them to better serve their clients by integrating new solutions.
Data-Driven Results: Implement strategies to track event outcomes, client acquisition, and conversion success. Regularly analyse performance metrics to refine future initiatives and report on the impact of your efforts.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, the external agency partner, and leadership to ensure seamless execution of projects. Big-picture thinking meets detail-oriented action in this role.
Budget Management: Oversee healthy event budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
What you'll need to succeed
Industry Expertise: Background in tech (SaaS), scale-ups, or B2B events within a relevant environment will be highly regarded.
Events Experience: Hands-on experience producing, running and then reporting on events up to 100 pax.
Analytical & Strategic Thinking: A sharp analytical mindset with the ability to measure and optimise the success of marketing initiatives.
Marketing & Agency Know-How: Familiarity with media or agency operations, including client tracking and conversion metrics, will also be highly regarded.
Adaptability: Enthusiastic about tackling challenges, embracing change, and collaborating in a dynamic environment
Team Collaboration: A proactive, team-oriented individual who thrives on mentorship and collaboration, contributing to a work environment that values growth and protects against burnout.

The daily rate for this role is between $500 - $550 per day + super. There are potential opportunities for ongoing work after the initial 12-month contract. Ideally, this role would have an immediate start, but we can also consider people on notice period. Please note, you must have full work rights for the 12-month period to be considered (no WHV).
