Marketing Officer role in central location for a 6-month temporary contract with potential for extension

Your new role

A dedicated Marketing Officer is being sought for a 6-month contract. This role focusses on supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns rather than leading them. The ideal candidate will have experience researching, writing, and editing content, and will be comfortable working in an office-based role with flexible start and finish times between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM.

Key duties include:

  • Supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Managing invoicing, raising purchase orders, and handling goods receipts
  • Working on multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborating with creative teams and media-buying agencies
  • Writing and editing content for various marketing materials
  • Utilising Adobe and Microsoft Office programs effectively
  • Working under pressure and as part of a team

What you'll need to succeed

  • Local knowledge of Perth
  • Experience in campaign development, ideally in a government setting
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
