Your new company

Our client in the south side of Canberra is seeking a reliable and experienced MC truck driver. This family owned and operated business has a great pipeline of ongoing waste management work for the foreseeable future and are seeking team players to join their team.

Your new role

Your new role will be driving the same run twice a day in the Canberra region, picking up and dropping off waste materials. You will be required to:

• Drive the MC truck in a safe and professional manner around the ACT
• You will need to unhitch and re-hitch the truck approx 4 times per day for unloading.
• You will also need to climb into the back of the truck and sweep out any debris before your next pickup.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in your application for this role you will need:

• An MC truck license and demonstrated b-double truck driving experience
• The ability to drive a crashbox truck is preferred but not essential
• Availability to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am and 5pm
• An updated resume and a referee from your last role
  

What you'll get in return

Our client is looking for someone to be part of their business long term. So they are offering a permanent opportunity paying above award and market pay rates of $40 - $45 per hour dependent on experience. This means that you will be paid a great pay rate for all hours worked, get leave entitlements and have job stability and security.
