Join a large not-for-profit health fund, where their mission is to bring a personal touch to healthcare and have a vision to make healthcare understandable, affordable, high-quality, and member centric. Located in Doncaster, this position is a full-time 12-month contract with a possibility of extension.


Your new role

As a Branch Member Consultant, you'll be the welcoming face of our organisation, assisting members in making informed healthcare decisions. Assisting members face-to-face and via telephone, your responsibilities will include:
  • Handling a wide range of enquiries from members, including questions about policy changes, billing enquiries, and general enquiries about services
  • Identifying the right coverage options to meet members' needs
  • Assisting members with claims and reassessment of claims.
  • Maintaining accurate membership information


What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you'll be a customer-centric professional who is adaptable to evolving work practices and thrives in a collaborative team environment. Other key factors for your success include:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and actively listen to identify customer needs
  • Confident computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
  • A background in needs-based selling or Banking / Insurance experience is highly desirable
  • The ability to speak and write in Mandarin is advantageous

This position will require you to work Monday to Friday from 8.45am to 5pm, with availability for occasional Saturday shifts working 9.45am to 2pm.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a full background check and provide 2 employment referees.
