They are now looking for experienced MPU Operators to work in the Bowen Basin.
Your new role
Access, interpret, and apply compliance documentation for mixing explosives using MPU (Mobile Processing Units).
Safely and efficiently operate, load, and calibrate an MPU
Identify, address, and report potential hazards and risks.
Manage incompatible materials and apply segregation according to relevant legislation and codes of practice.
Ensure all mandatory and relevant safety equipment is fitted and ready for use on the MPU, support loading equipment, and in the 'Reload Area'.
Calibrate the MPU for the products being loaded and delivered.
Display placards on the MPU and attachments to indicate the goods carried and relevant emergency information (EIPs).
Calculate ingredient batch quantities to manufacture explosives to specification and verify ingredient availability.
Conduct bulk product quality tests as specified in the Technical Data Sheets.

Be living within 500km of Bowen Basin
What you'll get in return
If successful in this position, you will work on a 7/7 day-only roster, 12 – 12.5 hr shifts. The role is commencing immediately, and you will be paid an attractive full-time wage + 5 weeks annual leave & super. There is career progression available in this position, and you will work for a family-friendly company. FIFO can also be offered to those living in Townsville or Rockhampton.
