Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage multiple Associate-level CIAM Engineers. This is an initial contract of up to 12-months, with options for up to one 12-month extension. Hybrid working arrangements are available, and this opportunity is available to candidates in ACT, QLD, and VIC. An NV1 security clearance is required.
Your new role
As a Customer IAM Engineer, you’ll design, implement, and maintain customer identity and access management (CIAM) solutions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly CIAM features while contributing to the organisation’s broader technology objectives. Key responsibilities include:
Developing and managing CIAM functions, such as user registration, authentication, and profile management.
Collaborating with stakeholders to translate project requirements into effective CIAM configurations.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and security best practices.
Optimising CIAM solutions for performance, scalability, and user experience.
Implementing automation and integrations to enhance user interactions.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CIAM solutions.
A strong understanding of regulatory standards and security best practices in identity and access management.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively.
Proven experience with CIAM platforms, such as Auth0, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping, Akamai, or equivalent (experience with any of these is highly desirable).
Ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently to manage workload and priorities.
Experience working in a cloud-based Data Lake or Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environment.
Process mapping skills to translate discussions into data flows and documentation.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working with stakeholders.
- Hold an active or be eligible to obtain an NV1 security clearance.
