Your new role
As a paralegal, you would be working alongside a senior lawyer in the firm responsible for:
- Conducting thorough legal research to assist lawyers in preparing for cases and legal proceedings in the family law space.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, affidavits, and pleadings.
- Organising and maintaining case files, ensuring all documents are filed correctly and deadlines are met.
- Preparing and filing legal documents with the courts and other relevant authorities.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
What you'll need to succeed
- Prior experience in the family law domain as a paralegal or law clerk.
- Willing to work 4 days a week from 9am to 5pm.
