Hays has partnered with a Large Local Government Area in Western Sydney to find an entry-level Parking Officer to join their compliance team for a 6-month contract. Located near the heart of Western Sydney, this Local Government Area is dedicated to delivering high levels of customer service and a positive experience for their ratepayers and visitors.

Your new role

In this new role you'll be taught the basics of Local Government compliance and community safety standards.

Your day to day will include:

• Patrolling the LGA on foot and in vehicle.
• Issuing parking infringements.
• Educating the public on local laws.
• Responding to customer complaints.

What you'll need to succeed

A successful candidate will have a background in retail sales or front of house hospitality and will have:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to deescalate difficult situations.
• A current NSW driving licence.
• Full vaccination against COVID-19

What you'll get in return

• Earn up to $33/Hour + Super.
• Work a 35-hour week over 4 days.
• Have the opportunity to work overtime and weekends.

This role is an initial contract of 6-months and has the possibility of extension and converting to full-time.
