We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our client's dynamic team in the heart of Perth CBD. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about payroll processes and delivering exceptional customer service.
Your new role
- Input payroll data, including timesheet information, into the payroll system with precision and timeliness.
- Provide support to the payroll team as needed, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Deliver excellent customer service to employees, addressing their payroll-related enquiries and concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
- Identify and escalate any payroll issues to senior team members for resolution.
- Meet fortnightly payroll deadlines, ensuring all tasks are completed within the required timeframe.
- Ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) are maintained, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the payroll function.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in payroll or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
