Power BI Developer

Your new role

You will be working as part of an engaging and highly focused team, collaborating to provide your expertise in Power BI development, supporting and delivering on the current Business Intelligence solutions. You will work within the Data migration team and also provide your SQL expertise in ETL, Data modelling, Scripting and Report optimisation.


What you'll need to succeed

You will need to have extensive experience maintaining technical competence and expertise in Power BI front end development and UI design. Delivering results within a short time frame to help the business make better decisions in the early stages.

  • Extensive Power BI development experience including UI (User Interface)
  • Strong knowledge of DAX including recreating tables, graphs, layers and bookmarks.
  • Developing Power BI visualisations and user dashboards.
  • SSRS, Power Apps and other Microsoft Reporting Services tools.
  • Power BI Embedded Scripting (Java, Python, etc) and events handling techniques.
  • Strong experience in applying optimisation techniques to improve Power BI reports performance
  • Professional stakeholder engagement across non-technical users to technical teams.
