Your new role
As a Project Development Manager, you will oversee and manage Commercial projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with the company's design philosophy and quality standards. You will be responsible for strategic development management and hands-on project delivery, ensuring successful outcomes across all stages.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related discipline;
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in development and project management in residential projects here in Melbourne;
- Proven people management, stakeholder, and communication skills (written and verbal) (bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply);
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard;
- Strong knowledge of Melbourne's property market, planning regulations, and construction processes;
- Professional and highly driven individual with the ability to adapt to change and work effectively within a supportive and collaborative team environment;
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Project & Development Oversight: Manage the entire apartment and commercial development project lifecycle, from feasibility to completion of current and future projects;
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and consultants to achieve design, commercial and functional objectives;
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality control to ensure smooth delivery;
- Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify new opportunities and inform project strategies;
- Risk & Compliance Management: Identify and mitigating potential risks and challenges, and ensure all projects comply with planning regulations and industry standards;
- Sustainability Initiatives: Integrate sustainable practices into all aspects of project development;
- Communication: Proactive with engaging with internal teams and colleagues to ensure workflows and project expectations are met with.
