Nationally, they develop large green field and brown field sites for commercial use and then ensure the presentation, maintenance and compliance with relevant Australian Standards are applied to all assets within the company.
The Project Manager – Civil and Infrastructure will work collaboratively to deliver the stages of the extensive upcoming project pipeline across ACT.
Your new role
Undertake each project with professionalism, delivery quality and value, budget and capex management. The Senior Project Manager will build strong and solid relationships including co-ordination with consultants and builders, lodging and obtaining building approvals and all things necessary to commission projects associated with;
The development of new civil and infrastructure projects including quality, value and budget management
The development of new precinct infrastructure including quality, value and management
Oversee design & construction process and progress against schedule and budget
Review all designs and approve the design before tender and construction.
Obtain authority approvals for projects
Attend Design & Construction Meetings with the relevant project manager to oversee in ground infrastructure integrity, growth and integration of new/existing assets
Ad hoc Inspect installations of new infrastructure as required, coordinate findings of inspections with Property, Plumbing Team and Project Manager, in regard to asset integrity, quality and internal standards
Liaise with Property, Plumbers and Property Managers to ensure new infrastructure is fully considered in regard to integration of existing systems, ensuring standards for infrastructure are maintained
For irrigation systems and pumps, new design during construction and consultation with Property and Grounds
Management of rectification works, compliance and environmental project issues
Regular engagement and supervision of project work and sites;
What you'll need to succeed
Exposure to landscape, civil or estate development projects (preferably in a consultancy/development setting)
High level of financial acumen
Extensive relationship building and management skills
Contract management exposure
Level of drive and motivation to succeed
Ability to work in a cross-functional team and provide feedback through design/architectural consultants
Impeccable time management and prioritisation skills
