fittings and conductor accessories to Australia’s electrical utility and
railway sectors. As a specialist in overhead line systems, and building on a

significant growth.
A rare opportunity has been created to join this
highly respected organisation as a Technical Sales Manager. The Mosdorfer Graph
team is seeking someone who is ready to build upon their B2B experience to
drive company’s growth. This role receives all incoming sales inquiries from
customers and also interacts closely with purchasing, logistics and engineering
colleagues to ensure that customer requirements are satisfied. Importantly, the
role is ready for someone who seeks a long–term career path and a healthy work
life balance.
Your new role
Working closely with the Commercial Manager and
General Manager, the key duties will include the following:
- Initiate and
maintain key stakeholder relationships with customers, suppliers and
service providers.
- Prepare
tenders and quotations.
- Implement
costing and pricing strategies for projects in power distribution and
transmission, and railways.
- Ensuring
compliance with Group governance requirements and procurement policies.
- Assist in
the preparation of monthly sales reports.
- Liaison with
customers to provide delivery and/or technical information and to ensure
that their quality and delivery requirements are being met.
- Develop
input cost models including procurement, shipping and distribution costs,
plus margins.
- Demonstrate
a knowledge of overhead line and substation products.
- Participate
in the resolution of occasional customer issues or disputes.
What you'll need to
succeed
- Background
in overhead line, electrical transmission/substation equipment, on either
the supplier or client side.
- Demonstrated
competence in creating clear and professional quotations &
tenders.
- Previous
experience in project estimation, preferably within the electricity
sector.
- Ability to
evaluate drawings to identify parts for quotation and develop work
packages.
- Strong
business acumen with a sound understanding of commercial drivers.
- High-level
communication skills.
- Flexible
work ethic to meet varying workload demands of the position.
- Capacity to
work closely and harmoniously as part of a small team.
- Good
understanding of the electric utility market, its customers, and forms of
contract.
- Demonstrated
ability to proactively build relationships with key stakeholders,
suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
- Capable in
the review and management of technical information.
- Strong
computer literacy, especially Microsoft suite programs.
- Experience
in project engineering or management and subject matter knowledge in
electrical utilities would be well regarded.
- Demonstrable
attributes: attention to detail, self-motivated, pro-active,
curious, and the ability to work autonomously.
