Step into a dynamic position with a well-regarded water corporation in Melbourne’s inner suburbs. We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Asset Management Engineer to drive the performance of the organisation’s water supply network, with a special focus on managing non-revenue water.

Your new role
Working as a Senior Asset Management Engineer, you will be responsible for the following below:

• Design, implement, and oversee non-revenue water programs, including Annual Opex and Capex Programs.
• Conduct network data monitoring and analytics, track water balance, and deliver insightful reports on network performance to stakeholders.
• Lead contract management for non-revenue water programs, regularly assess contractor performance, handle claims and variations, and build strong relationships with contractors.
• Install and manage monitoring equipment to identify network issues and provide valuable insights from trial outcomes for business evaluations.
• Contribute to KPI reporting on non-revenue water metrics, ensuring timely and accurate calculation and reporting of business KPIs.

What you'll need to succeed
You are a qualified Civil or Mechanical Engineer with a deep understanding of the water sector. Your background includes extensive experience in contract and program management, particularly in managing non-revenue water. You are well-versed in water supply network assets, including mechanical and electrical components like flow meters and pressure monitors.
