This well-established government body is seeking a Senior Communications Advisor to provide temporary relief in leading the management and execution of communications strategies for projects and campaigns. You will contribute to initiatives and strategies that support the implementation of the communications strategy internally and externally, whilst developing effective relationships with a range of stakeholders to support and execute communication plans and implementation of strategies. This role will run from early February until Mid-April on a full-time temporary basis, working on a Hybrd working model in Melbourne CBD.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven track-record working within the state, federal or local Government is highly regarded
• 2–3 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role is required, preferably at a regulatory body
• Excellent writing and editing skills with demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of communication plans
• Proven ability to think strategically about communications and issues, and develop strategic responses, plans and outcomes
• No specific software skillet is necessary
