Your new role
As a Senior Network Communications Engineer, you will:
Provide technical assurance and guidance to internal stakeholders.
Troubleshoot SDWAN, WAN, LAN, and wireless network issues.
Lead the identification, assessment, and remediation of network vulnerabilities.
Analyze vulnerability scan results and prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity, exploitability, and potential impact.
Collaborate with security teams to prioritize and address vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
Identify opportunities for network automation and process improvement.
Develop and maintain network documentation and policies.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
Must be able to obtain NV1 Security Clearance
A good knowledge of industry best practices in Network Communications, including security standards.
An in-depth understanding of network protocols and technologies.
Extensive experience with firewall technologies.
Data Centre Architecture experience with Cisco ACI design, implementation, and management.
Expertise in the components of Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) fabric (Tenant, BD, VRF, EPG, APIC) and integration of services and appliances with Cisco ACI deployments.
Certified Cisco CCIE-Data Centre and/or Routing and Switching.
Proven troubleshooting skills with packet captures, analyzers, and network automation tools (Ansible, Python, etc.).
A good working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, VMware, Azure, etc., and network systems (DNS, DHCP, Tacacs, Syslog).
Strong end-to-end project delivery experience.
Experience with other network and security technologies such as Juniper, Fortinet, Riverbed WAN optimization, F5 Load balancing, etc.
