Senior Payroll Officer

Senior Payroll Officer for a well-known brand in Sydney

You will be working for a well-known national brand that prides itself on providing Australia with superior, innovative solutions. This company will offer insight to Kronos time and attendance systems and proactive routines, as well as be part of a hands-on environment offering experience in all areas of payroll calculations, EBA interpretation and analysis.

Your new role
In this permanent position, you will:
  • Process end-to-end payroll for small volume for Australia and New Zealand
  • Identify gaps in processes and discrepancies in audits
  • Analyse payroll data and generate various reports
  • Respond to payroll queries and assist team with payroll-related issues
  • Identify areas of improvement within the payroll process
  • Assist with adhoc HR matters

What you'll need to succeed
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end, full function payroll
  • Knowledge of payroll systems – experience with UKG Kronos is desirable
  • Good eye for detail – ability to analyse payroll reports and spot discrepancies within pay calculations
  • Ability to work effectively within a team; not afraid to collaborate with others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of retail and hospitality Awards is advantageous
