The Global Business Operations & IT team is dedicated to driving high-quality innovation and cost efficiency across all processes, systems, and operations, ensuring a globally consistent business that delivers end-to-end services locally.

Your new role

• Deliver defined project outcomes within agreed schedules, budget, and quality measures, adhering to corporate delivery frameworks (SDLC / Agile).
• Review and validate solution designs, cost estimates, delivery schedules, and all project-related documentation.
• Identify, manage, and resolve/mitigate delivery risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when required.
• Integrate business requirements into project milestones, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure immediate working-level buy-in and support.
• Manage and track project progress through all delivery phases, including IT support transition tasks.
• Prepare scheduled project status reports and chair working group meetings.
• Supervise and support system integration, user acceptance, and performance testing activities.
• Coordinate successful application deployments across various infrastructure environments.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience in project management roles within the Insurance domain.
• Proven experience managing large project teams across multiple integrated applications.
• Experience with global delivery models and geographically distributed service providers is advantageous.
• Project Management qualifications (PMP, Prince 2, Safe Agile).
• Knowledge of General Insurance systems is a definite advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong business/solution analysis and issue/problem resolution skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, delivering under minimal supervision.
• Broad knowledge of IT application development and service management practices, designs, methodologies, tools, and processes.
