Our state government department client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a 6-month short-term temporary contract.
Your new role
Support project management activities, including coordination, monitoring, and reporting.
Manage project tasks such as scheduling, communications, progress reports, and meeting documentation.
Track and evaluate project deliverables and outcomes, coordinating stakeholder involvement.
Document project plans and working documents to enhance business improvement and project management efficiency.
Contribute to diversity and inclusion plans and implement communication strategies for various stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
Extensive experience in project management with a focus on change management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising, negotiating, and consulting with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated self-initiative and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Ability to contribute to team goals and objectives.
Experience in developing innovative solutions to improve staff experience.
