Your new role

As a valued member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional digital operations services within a large and complex service environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring internal and external reporting meets expectations for defined SLAs, timeframes, quality, and integrity.

  • Logging incidents and requests, triaging, and responding/resolving in accordance with agreed SLAs and customer expectations.

  • Maintaining a customer-specific technical and process knowledge base to ensure currency and relevancy.

  • Driving continuous service improvement across the Desktop portfolio through problem management.

  • Adhering to security and process compliance to maintain effective and robust service delivery.

  • Independently working on remote sites to deliver M.A.I.C.D (moves, additions, installations, changes, and decommissioning) of ICT equipment.

  • Managing incident and request triage and response/resolution in line with agreed SLAs and customer service metrics.

  • Developing, reviewing, and maintaining the knowledge base of the Desktop team and implementing preventive maintenance regimes.



What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience and a record of achievement in delivering value-add service delivery in a large and complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience.

  • Experience with contemporary desktop and server Operating Systems and Directory services.

  • Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience across multiple Microsoft/Citrix technologies and ITIL procedures.

  • Ability to define and monitor compliance with processes for the setup and installation of hardware, software, applications, peripherals, and other ICT-based systems to agreed service levels.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in configuring, deploying, and supporting end-user compute hardware, software, and accounts using SCCM and Active Directory.

  • Experience in supporting Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office suites.

  • Technical understanding of Directory Services and Group Policies.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative skills.

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Ability to handle, resolve, and escalate issues effectively under pressure.
