Your new role
You will report to the Stakeholder Liaison Manager (Personal Services).
This role is Brisbane based with flexible working arrangements due to extensive travel requirements. Personal Services includes: Hairdressing and Beauty, Floristry, and Funeral services.
- Attend, engage, and note-take as an industry liaison through industry committees and stakeholder forums.
- Reach out to build and maintain an extensive network across Personal Services.
- Assist the manager with administrative tasks, i.e. minute taking, setting up meetings, managing briefs, etc.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Coordinate workshops, events, and stakeholder forums using CRM and software tools.
You will assist the Stakeholder Liaison Manager (Personal Services) to lead and manage stakeholder events & forums. Attend events as a delegate and report your findings alongside other responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience with administrative and productivity tools.
- Event and workshop coordination, experience with managing logistics.
- Time & project management to effectively balance multiple responsibilities.
- Liaison/consultation and negotiation with government and industry professionals.
- Previous high-level assistant experience.
- Experience within the Personal Services sector or working with small businesses.
- Experience in media interaction, public speaking and debating with good skills in preparing briefings and reports to government and association bodies.
- The following experience will be highly regarded: Relevant tertiary qualifications in a Personal Services/government discipline are preferred.
