Our client is recruiting for an experienced and skilled Systems Analyst to join a high-performing team in the Treasury & Risk space within the Bank Technology division. This is an initial 6-month contract position with the potential for extension.

The purpose of the role is to primarily provide application and system support and, secondarily, to analyse and specify application systems requirements and solution design to meet business requirements. The role will require you to actively contribute to the Agile software development lifecycle and be familiar with automation concepts. The role will also include aspects of design, development, maintenance & ongoing support. The role will also be required to contribute to the team in a highly collaborative, continuous improvement approach.

Assist with solving production problems as a priority.

• Conduct investigations into potential system solutions, liaise with relevant technical experts and finalise solution design and costing.
• Perform functional changes to systems and assist with testing and customer implementation where required.
• Provide technical advice to business customers on business opportunities.
• Provides technical and systems input to business requirements solutions, estimates and specifications.
• Participate in and support the rollout of continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide input into development standards and team process improvement initiatives
• Provide technical review for changes
• Communicate collaboratively throughout the design and costing process with technical stakeholders as part of managing expectations for business and solution “customers”.
• Work collaboratively maintaining ongoing dialogue and relationships with stakeholders as part of continued solution development and support.
• Promote continuous improvement through involvement in review processes and demonstration of individual leadership skills

• Utilise agile methodologies where appropriate in your work

Required:

- Experience as a Senior System Analyst
- Swift experience essential
- Treasury experience
- Linux experience
