Our client is in the public sector and is located in the CBD. They are seeking a talented and driven Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join the team on a 4-month temporary basis.
Your new role
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent. You will work closely with hiring managers and HR teams to ensure a seamless and efficient hiring process.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Partnering with various stakeholders to provide end-to-end talent acquisition guidance and support for “hard to fill” roles, senior leadership vacancies and campaign recruitment with the objective of attracting the very best talent.
- Leading the end-to-end talent acquisition programs and processes from requisitions, sourcing through to onboarding, providing guidance to Hiring Managers on talent acquisition policies, procedures, processes, and systems.
- Cultivating strong relationships and influencing stakeholders, understanding their talent acquisition challenges, devising innovative, cost-effective and timely resourcing solutions to meet work program resource demands while also providing regular updates on vacancies, Talent Acquisition initiatives and market insights.
- Strengthening relationships with the Human Resources Business Partnering team and developing cross-functional relationships with the wider HR Function through consistent, proactive collaboration to resolve talent acquisition issues and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Utilising a broad range of sourcing channels and techniques to develop strong talent pipelines through targeted search initiatives.
- Building and maintaining a talent pool, proactively engaging with talent communities, ensuring a steady pipeline of top talent and reducing dependency on third-party vendors through innovative and creative direct recruitment methods.
- Managing the talent acquisition process to ensure we are delivering a best-in-class end-to-end positive candidate experience.
- Using all available data and recruitment trends to provide insights, guidance, and recruitment solutions to hiring managers, offering strategic guidance to ensure business resourcing objectives are met.
- Maintaining the integrity of data in the Application Tracking System (ATS), ensuring real-time accuracy of data ready for moment-in-time reporting.
Work experience/Knowledge/Skills
Essential
- Strong and demonstrated industry experience, with at least 5 or more years sound understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process and exposure to in-house recruitment environment
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successful management of conflicting priorities, preferably with a large organisation.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to positively influence both internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical and attention to detail while being customer outcomes focused with process improvement skills
Desirable
- Previous experience of recruiting engineers, professional or high-volume electrical trades people is desirable but not essential.
- Prior knowledge and experience working with Success Factors / SAP system environment.
- Valid WA Driving Licence Class C or C-A
Education/Qualification
Essential
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or related discipline or working towards these qualifications with extensive (at least 6+ years) demonstrated industry experience.
Desirable
Degree qualification in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
