Job Description:
As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding techniques. You will work on a variety of projects, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the production of durable and reliable products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on various metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, and other alloys.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on project requirements.
- Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in TIG welding techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good understanding of safety regulations and practices in welding.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks.
