Your new company

Our State Government client is looking for an experienced Visual Communications Designer to join their team on a 3-month short-term temporary contract with the possibility of extension.

Your new role

• Adapt existing complex diagrams, maps, and other figures.

• Create infographics, animations, and scientific graphs for a general audience.

• Develop visual communication strategies, particularly for data visualisation.

• Edit videos and recommend visual communication strategies.

What you'll need to succeed

• High-level proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.

• Experience with ArcGIS mapping, Story Maps, and other tools is highly desirable.

• Strong initiative, independent thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field plus a minimum of 4 years of experience, or substantial equivalent experience of 8 years or more.
