Your new role
The Operational Workforce Consultant will work closely with business leaders to leverage resource data and insights, developing workforce strategies that support the organisation's growth in the mid to long term. This role will focus on operational execution and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Risk Management - Identify and mitigate workforce risks, ensuring smooth internal mobility and enhanced business performance.
  • Predictive Modelling - Utilise predictive modelling and statistical analysis to forecast workforce needs and trends.
  • Strategic Execution - Collaborate with senior leadership to implement operations and strategic priorities and initiatives aimed at achieving best-in-class service levels.
  • Performance Monitoring - Plan and oversee business operations, developing and analysing key performance indicators to drive efficiency.
  • Business Optimisation - Work with business line leaders and executives to recommend methods for optimising business planning and analytics within the operational planning process.
  • Critical Role Identification - Determine essential roles, competencies, and functions necessary for successful strategy execution.
  • Labour Market Analysis - Understand labour market trends and risks, assessing the workforce implications for the current employee population.
  • Workforce Planning - Mobilise and measure efforts around workforce planning goals, partnering with key stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Strategic Workforce Management - Develop a strategic approach to workforce management, combining insights from workforce analytics, human capital best practices, and business strategy.
  • Talent Management Support - Actively support broader talent management efforts, ensuring alignment with operational goals.


. What you'll need to succeed
You must demonstrate experience in workforce planning, organisational development, or a related role, and have proven experience in supporting organisational change and workforce transitions. You will love data and have strong analytical skills along with the ability to interpret and use data effectively. High-level interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including negotiation skills, are required, as well as the ability to relate to a broad cross-section of people. You should be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships. Additionally, you need highly developed organisational and project management skills, with experience in managing multiple priorities, projects, and resources within tight timelines. The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion is crucial. Finally, you must be able to effectively work in situations of ambiguity, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in a complex business.
